Write With Us

Are you thinking about joining in?

This should provide a brief overview of the type of writers we are hoping to have join us and how we work together.

We are looking for writers to be either a Featured Author or Guest Author for our natural pain relief and natural treatment focused blog. Now that can cover a lot of ground.

The group writing with us will always be a small group. Personal interaction and attention is important to us. The plans are for eventually one or two featured authors and 4 to 6 guest authors. The blog is sponsored by an established website www.ultimatewatermassage.com.

We believe the best fit for a Featured Author for our site would be a person with significant blogging experience and we believe that a demonstrated commitment to the topic area is more important then the level of the writing experience.

A practical example?

A person that had been blogging on a personal blog about a range of Natural Health and Pain Relief topics, for 6 months, a year or more with an engaging style, knows a bit about developing a following (promoting) for their blog would probably be a better fit than an writer that is currently writing for several online services on a variety of topics. Read about Guest Author requirements here.

Featured Authors

Eventually we plan to have 2 Featured Authors with differing viewpoints or styles. This position pays $50 per month.. A Featured Author will receive the majority of our promotional efforts, in addition to their own readership development.

What we expect from our authors

  1. A relatively consistent posting schedule with Featured Author posting afour times a week and a Guest Author at least once a week, and if you were not going to post for a week or more to include a note to that effect in your last post, with a comment as to when you will return. It is surprising how many bloggers do not provide this common courtesy to their readers.
  2. Posts that are well written or otherwise produced, original, conversational in tone, predominately entertaining and/or informative and related to our general theme.
  3. Post lengths can range from roughly 300 to 500 words and should average approximately 400 words,
  4. The development of an ability to use best practices in blogging to retain and develop new readers. We have developed several good concise guides to assist you in this effort, but this is a lifelong learning experience. Personal or third party promotional content must be clearly secondary.
  5. To provide support, constructive criticism, and contribute to internal discussions on a regular basis.
  6. That all materials created and posted will become the exclusive online property of we-relax.com and Ultimate Water Massage Inc., and will conform with United State’s copyright and other applicable laws.

Guest Authors

If you have a strong interest in a specialty area related to our theme, enjoy writing, and want to develop a way to communicate with a large number of readers and we would love to discuss the possibility of your writing as a guest author for our site.

We are also open to budding or blossomed video bloggers, with a similar interest.

What is a guest author?

Well let’s get it out front, it is not a paid position. It is an opportunity to have a focused platform, a well trafficked platform to express yourself about a subject you are knowledgeable and passionate about and a great learning opportunity.

While there are many places you can blog, some for the possibility of pay but you will be one of hundreds and the operators hope, one of thousands. We are planning to develop a small team of writers, on a focused topic with similar interests.

A person might consider blogging on our site as a guest author once or more a week worthwhile for several reasons.

Guest Blogger Benefits

  1. You will be working independently but with best of breed tools, personal support and input from a small group of writers with similar interests. We are developing a complete set of tools for our Author’s to help them optimize their writing for Google and RSS feeds, and if you do not have extensive experience blogging this would be a good platform to develop those skills that are particular to blogging, and we will provide some guidance as to the current best practices in blogging.
  2. The main site is well established with 800 or more visitors per day and we will be closely integrating both sites. We will also be actively promoting the blog independently. You would be allowed to link to a personal site/bio and use the site (within reason) as a platform to promote related activities you are involved in. If you do not have a personal site or current offline activities related to your topic, you can develop an extensive profile on this site. This would provide you with a good vehicle to develop a following.
  3. Guest author’s that have posted consistently within the sites guidelines for 3 months are eligible for a 20% discount on all of the items on our main site.
  4. Becoming a guest blogger is a good route for a new writer to become a featured writer.

We are currently investigating opportunities for additional avenues of compensation for guest authors that develop a significant following.

If you got this far and can see yourself in our descriptions, you might as well admit you are interested and send us an email, include a link to your online writing or attach a sample of your work. Fill out the form at Author’s Terms and Conditions we use this form for both Massage 101 and Natural Pain Relief just check the appropriate box. If we also think you are a good fit we will be in touch. You can also just leave a comment here with a way to get in touch with you.

Hi, I am really interested in perhaps being a guest writer. I have been a Massage Therapist for 8 years and have worked in the Natural Health Industry for over 5. To be honest, I have never blogged before. I enjoy writing, have been good at it since my high school A.P. English teacher told me so and have always used a journal as an outlet.. I could use additional outlets to be heard, to excercise the other writing angles that have stood dormant a long time in my brain, and to explore new avenues just for the heck of it. Pleae feel free to contact me. Thanks for your interest.

My mom has been a massage therapist/aromatherapist/reflexologist ever since I can remember. She has taught me multiple lessons about her field, so I consider myself pretty well-informed. I have been blogging since I was 12, starting with Xanga and a Myspace. I now have a crueltyfree.com blog (which is a blog for those in the animal rights community) and a Facebook. I am a college student (at 17 nonetheless!) studying to go into the field of law and I am making amazing grades in English. If you would like a younger flair on your blog, please let me know! I am always on the internet. Thank you!

Hi,
As a massage therapist for 4 years and a professional writer/copyeditor for 5 (including web copy), I think I’d be a great addition to your regular blogger lineup. I am trained in many modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage, Lomi Lomi, Ayurvedic Therapies, Prenatal and Energy Work. I have a passion for massage, a knack for crisp, engaging writing, and limitless creative mojo. Some of the topics I’d like to discuss include: How to Find the Right Massage Therapist, Speak Up: Communicating with your Massage Therapist, Reflexology 101, Aromatherapy for Beginners, The Grateful Client: Tipping your Therapist and Pressure: When Less is More. Along with these topical blurbs, I propose an ongoing de-stress series featuring specific tips and techniques readers can try at home. I look forward to an opportunity to add to the Massagers101 site. Thanks!

Hello,
I’m very interested in becoming a guest blogger for your site. Writing has been a life-long passion. I’ve written persuasive product descriptions for catalogs and ghost written over 1,000 informative articles for a variety of successful websites. I’m a freelance writer, blogger, and avid neuropathy enthusiast. I’ve recently started studying massage therapy. I’d love to contribute to your site.
